I'm another one of Amy's finds from MSN. I've ran groups and been a member. My group migrated but kinda died with MSN. I'm a stay at home mom
from Ma, currently living in SC with my husband and 4 children. I recently signed up for online courses to get my BA in psychology, and got an online volunteer
job counseling teens so I won't be bored anymore!
My hobbies are getting in shape, hiking, hanging with my family, being online, music, natural living, and more stuff I can't think of at the moment. If you
see a funny signature keep popping up with my posts ignore it. It's from my rock band 2 group. I keep forgetting to uncheck the damn box.
Hi Monique. Thanks for adding an introduction. Looks like you've got your hands busy. Good that you make it here. Pop in anytime and offer your two cents.
Well, This seems like a fun group.
I'm Sassy, Amy invited me here cause she figured I might be a good fit in this group.
I'm a Full Time Student getting ready to transfer full time to Portland State University where I'll be working on my BA in Criminology, I have been
married to my husband Rob for the last 22 almost 23 years, we have 3 daughters ages 25 to 20. For hobbies I enjoy Motorcycles, Photography, and traveling.
I am originally from West Texas but have lived up here in N/W Oregon for the last 19 years.
Glad that you are happy where you are. I have moved from Germany where I grew up (Dad got a job out there and lived there for 20 years!) to Norwich to come to
university and although I love living in my home country, I still miss home. There is something special about the home you know from your childhood.
After participating on Yuku for a year and a couple of other non-Yuku forums for longer than that, I got disillusioned by some of the online nastiness (ie, the
'trolls') and abandoned all of my memberships for about a month. My handling of online abusiveness has always been very passive, because I realize that
responding in kind detracts from the overall quality of a forum, making a forum lesser for everyone. However, during the month off, I thought about it quite a
bit and have decided to change the way I do things.
I was really glad to get the invitation to participate on the GrabbaJabba board. There is at least one avatar here I already know. Thanks for the invitation.

Welcome again!! I know what you mean regarding the "on-line nastiness". Every time I venture out, I quickly reel myself back in because I don't
have any patience for communities, admin. or yuku members who allow/participate in on-line drama. Of course, it's not always avoidable. And we all tend
to get sucked in from time to time.
However, I can be proud to say since opening our doors last year, we've avoided such drama. I'm not naive to think it won't happen. But so far, so
good.
We can't promise you that everyone will agree with your opinions and beliefs, but I can guarantee you that we will provide a place that is as pleasant and
friendly as possible.
If you're able to accept other people for their differences, yet engage in intelligent, civil and fun discussions, you found the right place.

Everyone approaches issues from different sets of experiences, so naturally we all have different opinions.
